Sneak Peak
During the long hours of writing my memoir, I thought about different songs that had many memories attached to them. Music is something that’s universal and it’s easy to get emotionally involved when you hear a song; reminding you of something or someone from your past. After completing my manuscript, I broke it down into 18 chapters and each chapter became titled in song. I chose chapter 4 “Material Girl” for you to read for free, because of the adventure and all the endless shopping I had done; with money I didn’t have. Without a doubt I was a “Material Girl” for a moment in time. However, it was with a false sense of riches. My entire memoir is captured in song and, my story could be your story.
